7 mi. I skipped the cooldown, but really enjoyed the results of running 6 bridge miles so soon after the MiamiMan tri. It was great, first two miles were slow and sore, but my stride opened later and I knew I was doing my legs good. I wore new compression recovery socks to work, that also aided the recovery. Some self administered electric stim, this is how it should be done! Walter and Scott were there, we shared race stories and heard about Scott’s run through Red Rocks Canyon. Maybe the bridge isn’t the ideal place to do the recovery, I suppose a neighborhood jog would do, but this close to the race’s finish, a run is good for me.
