58mi. Today I met Scott on his “solo” ride to the tiki hut and back. He claims to have been doing two rides per week on the streets, and three spin classes per week at LA Fitness in the mornings. It’s working, he was very prepared and strong on this ride. I felt labored on tired legs from the long run day before. It was really evident in the last 12 miles, my legs and energy were both down. It was work just to draft Scott at 20-21 mph. I’ll have to reinstate my Wed am rides and get serious about being on wheels again. I did an ice bath afterwards and drank a Mix1 shake.
