2000 yards. The schools and day camps are back, so less swim lanes. I feel better with knowing my arm stroke gathers resistance and feels like it’s contributing more to speed than just exertion. I swam next to Walter for half of my workout, then the fast local masters swim guy did laps two lanes away, he makes effortless the freestyle motions of swimming. I knew I’d be doing a swim the next day and one in a real race Monday, but this was easy to accomplish in great weather. The water seemed cold at first but was good once I got started. I have to try the fist swimming method as a drill to see if I’m really efficient with my stroke. To be continued…
