Last run of the year

5.5 mi  In limited light, I ran a slow 5+ miles in Bethpage, my last run of the year. It was in the 40s, cloudy and getting dark early. I ran from the house around Grumman to Hempstead Tpke, then over to Stewart Ave and up to Pine Ave before returning to the house. It is neat to see everything changing, new businesses, old stalwarts closed, and people going about the holiday rush. I had already done my shopping so no hurried dash to sores this year. I thought about running at other times, but didn’t bother, this year it was best to stay inside with the family.
