7.5 mi Half a cooldown run with Walter made an ordinarily 8 mile run 7.5. My footbed on the left shoe was a bit annoyed with the hills in the Gel Kayanos, not sure why, I’ve used them before and no ill effects came about as of Saturday’s 10 miler. This run was good, breezy from the west and run slowly for both Walter and I. Low attendance all morning, maybe 6 others max. I see the time is changing, it’s lighter as I finish the run. I use these pre race workouts to focus on what things I’ll think about during the race. It’s practice for the melon head as well as my legs!
