7mi. My plan with hill running today was to try the trail running Saucony shoes, but I never remembered to put them out so I wore the questionable Aasics Kayanos. I met Walter a few minutes late and Teresa O found and scared us on the warmup. I ran 5 bridge miles before leaving for a bathroom break. The regular set of bathrooms were locked, the set by the scuba and fishing area was locked, but Robert D pointed out nice individual room restrooms by the dockmaster’s house. That worked, but I’m stowing toilet paper in my car from now on. My feet didn’t hurt but I did feel differences from left foot to right foot on the last two miles of hills. I spoke with Walter and Lilia about race strategies for Palm 100, I would like to finish in 12-12:30 hours with an emphasis on negative split. That means the half way point should be done in 6 hours.
