6mi. Running through my neighborhood isn’t a new idea. I got so bored of the route I stopped doing it years ago. Putting some breath and pace behind it is what I’ll need to pry my way into a newer level of speed. Three times a week out of routine has gotten me here. Now I can try to go further. I did abg pace 7:19 for a 43min xx sec 6 miler. It was cool out which made it easier. I settled into a good pace and shorter turnover than usual. I had a higher than normal heart rate as a result of the shorter stride.
