50 mi. Our Sunday group was geared to go “longer than 60” because many of them are registered in 1/2 or full Ironman events in October and November. I don’t need all of that, a good ride on a nice day is what I was after. I rode the first piece of the morning with the group up to Sandsprit Park. Some chose to ride back, Lisa Reiss, Lanae, and several other guys. We went back the other 25 miles as a group of 6, adding and losing a rider here and there. I felt good but not 100% today. I forgot a headband, so sweat ran it’s course down my helmet and in my eyes. I wore the new yellow jersey Suzanne brought me from France and received two nice comments on the fit and color. I matched it up with yellow Fast Jackets. Oh yes that was a good match-up. Thanks to Suzanne for nice riding gear in my favorite color!
