Don’t look now…

2000 yards  I struggled to get into the parking lot this morning, cars are backed up on Okeechobee Blvd all the way to Haverhill Road due to a lane closure. Because of this, timid drivers don’t vault across the three or four lanes. This leaves me hung in the middle of Okeechobee Blvd watching and stewing. Once in the pool, the 40 laps go by quicker than ever in my head. Maybe not too quickly on the clock, but that’s not a bother. I will swim more in open water, which I like better anyway. This pool swimming twice a week gets my stroke straightened out. So I keep going. It’s a minimalist approach to swim improvement.
