Newness brings enthusiasm

7mi. Today I arrived a bit early – no trains or traffic lights bottled me up on the way in. Teresa ran my first warmup lap with me, then Scott, Joe P. and Jen Keyes arrived so we went right to the hill. Teresa, Joe and I ran the first five miles together, Jen and Scott waited for Ashley.  I ran the last lap with Ahley and the 1/2 mile cooldown, too. New people at the bridge made it nice, it was warm and windy this morning. The breeze came from the east and made running that way more desireable for me – no sweating like the other direction! I am going to rest after the run – a new emphasis on the 45 minutes of recovery post workout that aids the immune system. It doesn’t do bad for the rest of me, either!
