Even after a break

5 mi.  Erica asked if I would run her workout with her – three timed miles. I don’t have a race to train for, so that’s as good as a bridge run for me. I drove to Abacoa and arrived 5 minutes late. Together we did a mile warmup, three timed miles separated by 10 minutes, and a cool down jog for an additional mile.

Mile #1 was set for 5:50 pace and we did 5:48. Mile #2 was set at 6:00 pace and we finished in 5:58. The last one was set for 6:10 pace and we completed it in 6:06. I told Erica for the final one that we had a twenty second cushion from the first mile. I had more challenge breathing than running. My left high hamstring is still a brewing issue, it does not feel right under speed or distance. That’s wrong. Jessica says explore chiropractic. I have to address a small issue before it grows to be a larger problem.
