Hamstring warms to perform

5mi. Today was again, like last week, cooler than the weather should be for mid June. 82 and humid is what I should get at track, instead it was 74 degrees. I ran behind Seth, Steve Monks, a new runner named John and  the same guy from last week whose name I don’t know.

Paul kept us on 500s and 300s, no one guessed the final 800m to finish. I felt my left hamstring sore in a low, “bass” like fashion, but I don’t think it kept me from going the speed I wanted to keep. I ran next to a recovering Hari for some of the intervals. He is 37 years old. Once he’s back healthy, I won’t be able to match his speed!
