Brick sans sun

30mi ride/6mi run I’m not in “go enter a tri” shape, as evidenced by the slow run I did today following a ride to Hobe Sound. Suzanne and I went, learning moments before leaving the park that Suzanne McCarthy was hit by a car on the Donald Ross Bridge. She has some injuries and sadly won’t be able to race the Miami 70.3 this Sunday.

The ride was against the wind there and peppy with the wind coming home. We didn’t go much over 20mph on the way there, but kept a better pace coming home. I ran solo from the park to Carlin Park and back. No sun, a healthy breeze and I was happy getting a replacement in for the track work I didn’t do this morning…
