Slow on Saturday

10 mi. Tough run to be excited about, last night’s concert dehydrated me and left me tired with a four and a half hour sleep. Funny how the intake of fluids can leave you so thirsty and wobbly-headed, right?

I ran with a new to Florida runner, Andrea. She and her family moved from Aspen. She is also running the NYC Marathon. Her pace and one-on-one conversation was good for me. I wasn’t moving better than 8:45 pace all morning. I made frequent stops for water, too.

I will up the miles again next weekend, and then do another 20 miler the following weekend in WPB. That will be a good progression for NYC Marathon. The latter weeks of October will be busy for me. I have to do the distance earlier in the month.
