5 miles. Today was really nice weather, high 60s, low humidity, and no breeze. We will be wishing for this in a month.

I chased Zeke around on most of today’s intervals. When someone runs slightly ahead of you and then can press away in the last 100m, it makes me think I am running with a 20 lb weight belt around my waist.

So maybe I shouldn’t have a large Smoothie Whirl’d lunch followed by a full dinner, beer, and dessert? It doesn’t sound like a “pro” move.

After the track, I drove home and stopped at LA Fitness to complete a “5 x 5 Stronglifts” app session. There’s no one at the gym at this time, I fit my weightlifting in between those that come early before work and those that arrive for 9 am personal training things.
