5 mi. Today was a track workout. Our weather was good with a cool breeze coming out of the east. I did a slow warmup on Grandiflora Ave, my right side hip and glute area was not feeling right – too tight and slight soreness until I was warmed up. It felt good while running, but then after the run it was stiff and some soreness. Time to lay off after today. I’ll do yoga and other activities that should stretch and allow that area to heal.

I finished my mile for time behind Aldo’s 5:42. It’s a good time for me, I can go faster. And our weather will be improving, so once I shake the irregular feeling on my right side, I’ll be in good shape!
