Tooling up the Island with Walter

33miles. This was a good day to ride, really no breeze except for a small bit coming back. We had plenty of time to talk, ride, and see others out there. We went to the preserve park at the end of Jupiter Island, and also saw the alleged “Bill Gates” secret road with all of the NO Access signs.  After the ride, I caught the very end of the locals tri group’s swim. That felt great, although the water was chilly. Flat and perfectly clear, my solo swim to the buoys was excellent! I also discovered the Loggerhead tri is already sold out. When people as me what I’m training for, I can now say,”To be a volunteer at Loggerhead in August”.
